  1. I would like to see a monthy timeframe added to the charts. I find monthly bars helpful in determining a long term trend of a stock. These monthly bars should provide data for the specific calendar month, thus if only 3 days of a month have data, then only the first three days are used. Of course for all the previous months, the full calendar month data is used. Likewise, I know some investors who find it helpful to look at quarterly bars too.

  2. When selecting multiple stocks from a watchlist to view as graph, currently we can only move to the next graph using the scroll bar with our mouse. It would be a lot faster and easier to provide a keyboard shortcut to flip to the next (or previous) graph, such as using the up/down arrows, page up/ page dn buttons or the +/- buttons to flip to the next or previous chart.

  4. Allow users to import their own timing list rather than just using built-in lists of Confirmed, DEW, Primary Wave, Green Light. These user-defined timing signals could be used in graphs as well as in the backtester. The user-defined list could be for MACD, Cook's Candles, or any other list created externally by the user. The data could just be a comma delimited file with "name" "up,down, neutral" signals & dates.

  8. Add Protrader feature that allows user control for unisearch criteria for MACD histogram trends. Example finds stocks when MACD 12,26,9 bottoms and trends higher by 2 days. Allow user control buttons to set MACD parameters (e.g. 12,26,9) and histogram trends (up/down) and (#of periods-1,2,3 days). This is a more aggressive search than MACD or DPO crossovers@0 and can return higher returns.

  10. In VV6, one can cut and paste the color guard data into an excel spread sheet. This cannot be done in VV7, and I view this is an important option that should be added.

    Thanks.

  12. A parameter in UniSearch that allows a user to play with the percentages to set various retracement levels would be an awesome search tool. Imagine bringing up a group of stocks at the 50% Fib retracement after a market pullback. This would be powerful and add value to the VectorVest product.

  13. I suggest we should also display financial ratios. I would like to see P/E Ratio (TTM), Total Debt to Equity, Interest Coverage (TTM), Gross Margin (TTM),Operating Margin (TTM),Net Profit Margin (TTM), Return on Assets (TTM), Return on Investment (TTM), Return on Equity (TTM).

Portfolio Groups is a feature we are currently working on for a future update that will greatly improve the Portfolios in VectorVest 7.

We don’t have a date yet, but I’ll let you know when the update is ready to be released!

  17. I can not follow portfolio in real time since I am using 25 % Profit exit and 15% trailing stop at the same time. It should not be complicated for you to add.

  19. I've always enjoyed viewing the annualized results from my investments, even though some may be for only a short time. To show this in the portfoloios would give me a better handle on the performance of my investments.

  20. Maybe you could add the DPO to the V V fields so I could get an alert when it goes above or below the zero line at the end of the day. Thank you
