add the ability to export portfolios to other VectorVest users
It would be great if there was a way you could export your portfolios and import them into another VectorVest user's account.
For example, my friend and I both use RealTime, and would like to share our portfolio ideas. However, it would be a little time consuming to have to re-enter all the parameters by hand. It would be great if I could export the portfolio from my RealTime and allow him to import it into his.

Add a 'point' trailing stop
A point trail looks at the current profit, for example you bought xyz at 40, it is now trading at 42, you have a 2 point profit, and you have a .75 point trail, which means if the stock dropped to 41.25 it would trigger your exit with a 1.25 profit.

Portfoloio data
Display the current stop loss price in the stock list grid for stocks in a portfolio. For example, I have a portfolio set up with trailing stops. In the stock list displayed for that portfolio I need a calculator to calculate my stop loss price if I remember what percentage I put in. So also display on the list the stop loss percent.. If I display a chart for that stock, indicate my purchase price, trailing stop, and target price on the chart.
It would also be useful to be able to set different trailing stop percentages for different stocks.…

In comparing VV portfolio entries to actual brokerage account, provide means to list trades specific to a particular stock for accuracy.
If one is an active trader, not necessarily a day trader, entering every single cash entry / withdrawal / purchase and sale of stock, dividends paid and reinvested is really laborious. It is extraordinarily difficult to be accurate. If we are not able to import our actual brokerage records in to VV7, provide us with the means to list all entries pertinent to a specific symbol so that when we are attempting to balance accounts between VV7 and brokerage, we can readily see only entries pertaining to a specific symbol. Portfolio Efficiency
Please make the Portfolio operation the same as the back test operations.portfolio operation is in synch with he mkt, the backtest is not. This is is actually causing me a lot of headaches and -ve opportunities... You need to also activate the long and short positions whne you have a postfolio that has both and not only using one or the ohter.

Currently you have a limited auto alert portfolios. I would like to have unlimited portfolios with instant allerts.

Vectorvest Portfolios - Have the ability to hide some of the Vectorvest portfolios instead of all of them
Have the ability to hide some of the Vectorvest portfolios instead of all of them. I do not care to see all of the RTC portfolios evey time I go to the portfolios section but I want to see the RTC - S&P500 Stop Asc/index ETFs-contra portfolio to track its YTD performnce. Currently it is all or nothing.

Post new portfolios. Take last years great portfolios and start them at 1/3/2013 and not at 1/6/2012.
Very simple... Take your last years portfolios and change the starting date to 1/3/2013

Improve print layout in VV-7 portfolios. Old VV has better print layout
When you try to to print a model or custom portfolio, the print lay out is not good and there is no tool to improve. If there is , then it needs better explanation

Add Market Timing automation tools and start and finish dates to the PortFolio Manager
As it stands, the Portfolio Manager lacks the flexibility of the BackTester and consequently has limited value as a live trading management tool. To improve the usefulness of the Portfolio Manager, the Market Timing Automation tools should also be included as part of the tool kit along with start and finish dates.

Choosing which open parcels to sell in portfolio tracker
Does your portfolio module allow the user to choose which open position(s) are to be sold?
Currently it seems that rules average out the entry price of all open positions and then force earliest parcels to be sold first. This may not be what the user is doing.
The portfolio summary report then tries to give the user feedback on winning/losing trades and then a further breakdown on open/closed positions. The summary data provided is misleading because of the rules that have already averaged out the positions and forced earliest parcels to be sold first. It tells you there have…

Allow Sell Transaction To Be Applied To Selected Buy Transaction As In VV^
- Buy 100 shares in BHP
- Buy 95 shares in BHP
- Buy 130 shares in BHP
- Sell 95 shares in BHP
In VV6, when I Sell the 95 BHP shares, VV6 displays a dialog asking me which
of the three Buy transactions I want to apply the Sell transaction to and I
can select Transaction 2, leaving transaction 1 and 3 alone.
In VV7, the selection dialog doesn't appear and just seems to apply the Sell
against the combined Buy transactions; or, probably transaction 1.
This results in an incorrect summary of my real position in the Portfolio

Ability to email Reports
Ability to be able to email the various reports from reports dropdown.in the Portfolio manager. Right now you can only print each of these reports.

Misleading 2013 portfolio results
I find that starting the 2013 model portfolios including results from 2012 to be misleading. To my knowledge this has not been done in the past. Why now?
