    very good Idea. You didn't specify the time interval. It would be nice on Intraday--like 5 minutes at the buy/sell process has taken effect.

    Backtesting to me causes concern. For one thing, the data used for backtesting has already been gathered, so the results of the test can be easily attainable. Being that each new day in the Stock market is undetermined and based solely on investors using different reasons(i,e, stock news, prior day results, unemployment news, etc), how can backtesting possibly give you a clear understanding of what tomorrow's volatility will be like to make a well informed decision on your investment. History data is fine, but can not predict tomorrow's outcome based on investing by the public.
