  2. An example of above is: in the enhanced pro trader DPO is one of the mechanisms for evaluating stock and I do not remember what it means. I would like a way to check it instantly in order to see what exactly goes into it.

  5. A recent SOW introduced the Colt 45 strategy for cherry picking stocks to go long (especially at the beginning of a confirmed up-trend). I very much would like to see a similar strategy for cherry picking stocks to go short.

  7. It would be nice to run this on Auto Pilot, that is to say, start it up and let it run for six months, come back and see what the results are!

  8. I see that ETFs are quite unique in the viewers, searches, etc. Some of the values, such as RT and RS have no meaning. I would like to get an explanation of the differences relating to ETFs and how these affect strategies.

  9. Add the ability to overlay MTI onto a backtest graph, so one can more easily see how the backtest compares to the overall market.

  10. When I work on a succession of backtests, changing one parameter at a time, I soon lose track of what I did, and it's not possible to tell from the current listing of backtests how they vary. I would like to be able to see a chart of the parameters used in each backtest for comparative purposes, as in spreadsheet form, either in the existing display, or a report or spreadsheet export. As it is, one has to be very inventive with the names or keep a spreadsheet on the side, all of which takes a lot of time.

  11. I' like to be able to produce a report from a backtest that shows the developing gain or loss over time by day, week, month or year. The Transactions report doesn't suffice, because it doesn't show gain or loss and can't be exported to a spreadsheet. It's also not day, week or month oriented. I would also like to see at least a monthly or annual report of gains and losses in the Summary Report.

  13. ROE is offered by other providers. It is a long term metric. Is there a reason VV can not offer ROE? Thanks. JWG

  15. If one is an active trader, not necessarily a day trader, entering every single cash entry / withdrawal / purchase and sale of stock, dividends paid and reinvested is really laborious. It is extraordinarily difficult to be accurate. If we are not able to import our actual brokerage records in to VV7, provide us with the means to list all entries pertinent to a specific symbol so that when we are attempting to balance accounts between VV7 and brokerage, we can readily see only entries pertaining to a specific symbol. Otherwise, trying to balance fractional shares and DRI's becomes a…

  16. I was only able to use the VectorVest U.S. (online) when running Internet Explorer 9 as an Administrator (Windows 7). The computer chose to upgrade to IE 10, and now I can't get past the "redirecting" page. It seems that Chrome gets a little closer, but I can't get the tabs to appear (for Unisearch, as an example), and the links on the left navigation bar are ineffective.

  17. I tried to watch the videos in the University section but I could not see everything that was going on, the picture was to big & I could not see the mouse cursor & clicks off to the sides. Jeremy said to check the Display in Control panel, I did & it is 100 where he said it should be. Any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your time & consideration.

  18. This makes a HUGE difference in overall performance over time. In the real world, we place stop losses so that we are taken out as quickly as possible and would not arbitrarily wait until the next morning before acting.

  19. Right now if I enter 50/10 for gain/loss, I could potentially have a 60% drawdown. By allowing to distinguish between a loss from purchase price or a moving stop loss, I could navigate a severe stock correction.
