Allow Customization of Candlestick

Allow an option for candlesticks charts to be only solid. So Green is always "up"; Red "down". (no "hollow" bodies).

The visually-confusing VV candlesticks display no more information than standard candlesticks. I sincerely dislike them and cannot fathom why VV doesn't make standard candlesticks an option. I know of no other service that uses this hollow / solid format. Please make the standard candlestick format an option.

Sorry, Steven Rothacker! I accidently clicked on "Flag as inappropriate" on your comment, and then could not figure out how to change it back.

To echo Ron I's comment. The VV format is quite simple & offers more info (ie degrees of bullishness & bearishness) at a glance than an always solid or hollow format. They are standard in the sense that red always means a lower close (ie down) & green always means higher (ie up). I think the position of the close relative to the open is important in reflecting sentiment. Solid means it closed below the open (negative) while hollow means it closed above the open (positive). Thus, ignoring the tails, from most bullish to most bearish would be hollow green, solid green, hollow red & solid red. All this at a glance!!!!

    V V HAS CONVENTIONAL CANDLESTICKS

It has taken me a while to realize that if only COLOR is considered, the V V candlesticks are the same as the conventional. I don't know what advantage the V V ones have. Problem solved.

I like others already familiar with candlesticks are confused by VV candles. You provide bar charts and others, why not just add conventional candlesticks as an option and make us ALL happy. Thanks.

I suggest those having difficulty with VV candlesticks spend a little time studying them. My first impression was a little negative on them, but after taking a couple minutes to learn them, I prefer them. They are more informative at a glance than traditional candlesticks.

Please change back to the traditional candlesticks or offer an option to do so. I keep VV6 going (along with VV7) just so I can see candlesticks that mean something to me. It is verrrrry frustrating!!!

I for one would be unhappy to change the present VV candlesticks configuration. Keep this as the standard even if you do later allow users another display option.

it is much easier to read if green is always up and red down. who cares where it opened . we can see that.

I find trend candlesticks confusing. If the price is down from the open, the candle should be red not green even if the trend is up. Follow the normal convention for candles.

Trend candlesticks with the hallow bodies are inconsistent with most charting software. Please allow option to have "standard" solid candlesticks which are much easier to read at a glance.

It drives me nuts that the candles are exactly the opposite of all my other charting software.

I find it confusing to have the extra feature of the interpretation of the hollow bodies.
