Would like to see average daily price change for a sector / stock. This will help in picking stocks that have price deltas more than an average price change. It is one of the strategies that vector vest can incoporate into the system.

Provide ratings from third party agencies such as Market Edge 2nd opinion.
I've found "Strong Buy" technical recommendations from Market Edge 2nd Opinion to be well corrolated with Vector Vest RT ratings and high VectorVest rankings. It would be extremely handy to have 2nd opinion ratings in the Vector Vest database tables.

Choosing which open parcels to sell in portfolio tracker
Does your portfolio module allow the user to choose which open position(s) are to be sold?
Currently it seems that rules average out the entry price of all open positions and then force earliest parcels to be sold first. This may not be what the user is doing.
The portfolio summary report then tries to give the user feedback on winning/losing trades and then a further breakdown on open/closed positions. The summary data provided is misleading because of the rules that have already averaged out the positions and forced earliest parcels to be sold first. It tells you there have…

Post new portfolios. Take last years great portfolios and start them at 1/3/2013 and not at 1/6/2012.

I would like to see a Vector Vest feature where users can post backtest ideas and or strategies. This would be useful for discussion at use
I would like to see a Vector Vest feature where users can post backtest ideas and or strategies. This would be useful for discussion at user group meetings. Users can prepare the month before the meeting and show the users attending their ideas without loging into their own personal accounts.
A user could create a backtest and copy it to a separate Vector Vest website created for a user group by Vector Vest or a general common website for all users to see.1 vote -

Provide an RV/RT timing indicator
Analogous to the 10/15 RT timing tool, I would suggest to do this for a 10/15 MA tiing tool , based on RV/RT.

V V printing capabilities suck. I have sent many emails over the last 10 years, but you folks never respond because you don't get it.
Your printing capabilities suck. I've sent you many emails over the years, suggesting OBVIOUS improvements to printing flexibility, but no one responds and nothing happens. Your data is OK, but would be SO MUCH better if users had more control over print formatting choices. But Bart is clueless when it comes to user needs,and changes would cost him a few bucks, so he be asleep. Or arrogant. Or both.

Misleading 2013 portfolio results
I find that starting the 2013 model portfolios including results from 2012 to be misleading. To my knowledge this has not been done in the past. Why now?

Let a right-click of the column headers provide the option to change the column layout.
It took me a while to find how to change the column headers (i.e. layout) because the option to do so resides on a right-click of a stock's row, not on the right-click of the column header row. Consider moving the "Layout. . . " option to the column header row or, better still, duplicating the option there for current users who are now expecting to find it on a right click of the stock's row. Should be a quick change that may well result in fewer calls since Telechart users coming to VV will already know where to find…

Make a way to print the pending orders in the back tester. I am using it as a going forward strategy but can only print by doing a screen shot. Either that, or make a way to copy/paste the text in the "pending orders" box to copy it into a word processor.
