  1. When Histogram is clearly moving towards zero from a negative number, that is a clear investable option. And if MACD crosses up later on the trade is very profitable.

  4. Can you create a new stop loss which combines a fixed % to sell at with a trailing stop to limit loss at. eg.- G/L 50/20 where you would automatically sell if you hit your profit target of 50%, but at the same time your trailing stop would be climbing so that if you reached a profit of only 40% for instance and your stock began reversing, you would only go back down to 20% at which point your stop would be triggered and you would exit with a 20% profit instead of riding all the way down to a…

  5. The Chandelier Stop is a trailing stop that is based on the volatility of the market. It has been successfully used and recommended by a number of traders, including Chuck LeBeau, for trend-following systems. The equations for the Chandelier Stop (CS) indicator recently incorporated into the FT Program are as follows:

    If Long: CS=HH-FactorEMA(Range, Length)
    If Short: CS=LL+Factor
    EMA(Range,Length)

  6. Add Protrader feature that allows user control for unisearch criteria for MACD histogram trends. Example finds stocks when MACD 12,26,9 bottoms and trends higher by 2 days. Allow user control buttons to set MACD parameters (e.g. 12,26,9) and histogram trends (up/down) and (#of periods-1,2,3 days). This is a more aggressive search than MACD or DPO crossovers@0 and can return higher returns.

  10. Currently Advance/Decline displays a unit based scale ranging from 0 to 4 (or so). The scale lines are at '0', '2' and '4' - practically useless. Scale should be LOG and centered on '1'.

  12. I would like to see a monthy timeframe added to the charts. I find monthly bars helpful in determining a long term trend of a stock. These monthly bars should provide data for the specific calendar month, thus if only 3 days of a month have data, then only the first three days are used. Of course for all the previous months, the full calendar month data is used. Likewise, I know some investors who find it helpful to look at quarterly bars too.

  13. When selecting multiple stocks from a watchlist to view as graph, currently we can only move to the next graph using the scroll bar with our mouse. It would be a lot faster and easier to provide a keyboard shortcut to flip to the next (or previous) graph, such as using the up/down arrows, page up/ page dn buttons or the +/- buttons to flip to the next or previous chart.

  15. ' love the support & resistance levels... however, the resistance price (as you roll mouse over the resistance line) does not come out on top...and is sometimes unreadable... should be a very, very easy fix...

  19. There are often times when the MTI moves in a narrow range, and it would be nice to see the 3rd decimal point displayed for the MTI on the VectorVest views.
