  2. I am trying to create a search to help find the crossing of the 10DayMA(stop price) and the 65dayMA (stop price). You can only use the crossover operator in Pro Trader currently which does not support the MA stop price formulas. Is there a way to create a crossover operator in the normal operator section? Look forward to your help.

    Thanks
    Jim R.

  3. Unisearch does not allow use of DPO Crossover above / below zero as search parameter when using Industry / Sector Price. Protrader parameter is not available in the operator column. My research suggests if you buy top 3 stocks within the industry when Industry DPO crosses above zero, you could easily pocket 12 to 15 percent profit in a month. Availability of DPO in Operator Column for Industry / Sector search would be very helpful.

  4. I believe it is important for a user to know the date when any given stock that appears today on any of your prebuilt search screens was first added to this screen. This would help a user to know how old in the tooth that trend is for that particular stock and make his decision whether or not to invest in that stock. At present, it seems there is no way of getting this info. You may consider adding a column in the tables to exhibit this date for each stock.

  5. Currently RSI9 & RSI 14 are included. Many traders use RSI2 & RSI3 for short term trading.

  6. When I select stocks with highest say 4 week gain, it displays 4 week % gain but I cannot sort by this field when I run the search and see results.
Just like you can sort output by say company name alphabetically, one should be sort by % gain also.

  8. An example of this search would be on the evening of 2-13-2014 you run this search and the stock SKX comes up. This is the first day SKX has a buy recommendation following a low. Another example;
on the evening of 9-10-2013 you run this search and the stock LUV comes up. This is the first day LUV has a buy recommendation following a low.

  9. It would be helpful to create a way in the search parameter that would allow a determination of the latest entry into the watch list by using the "Date/Time" parameter.

  11. Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am now about 30 days since working with Vector Vest and am excited about the possibilities.
However, it is precisely the diversity of the program my problem.
I get all the pieces together is very difficult.
Is there a kind of org / plan how to put together the different parts of the program.
I will continue to work on VectorVest but it would be nice if I could get some help.

    Best Regards

    Ingo Strelow

  13. For example; Search where a parameter such as CI > 1.5 for each day over the last 3 days, or last 2 weeks or last 4 months…being able to search that a parameter is true between two dates would be very useful. The ability to search a specific date exits, such as, 'Time of Search', 2 days ago or even 2 weeks ago, but there is no ability to search that a parameter is met for each day over a given span or period of dates.

  14. Say I'm using a Unisearch and need to further dissect the data without adding additional parameters, I want to be able to apply a filter to quickly filter out irrelevant data.

  16. Based upon a 2011 paper published at S&P, there is evidence that Low Volatility equities have delivered higher compounded returns over time than high volatility equities.
I would like to be able to screen watchlists periodic Standard Deviation (Asc or Desc) to exploit this documented market anomaly. To be able to see the market's appetite for these characteristics might also enable an investor to see trends in the overall risk appetite prevailing in the market.

  17. Add different type of sorts in Unisearch, such as:
-By market phase and type of market (blastoff, trending, topping, collapsing, channeling, etc)
-By Price (it is very difficult to find searches for high wealth)

  18. RT EMA crossover or RMA on RT EMA gives you a better entry and a better exit in market timing on a stock. It is a leading indicator ( a day or two) on a change of the primary wave. You buy at or near the green light buyer flashes its signal. It enabe you to profit from the intermediate swings in a sustained trend.

However I have not tested it to evaluate its predictive value on change of a major trend ( up or down) in bull or bear market.

Its application would be best used in weeklys options…

  19. Establish a new search to find Stochastics Crossovers to determine when the %K crosses above or below the %D. Set up the value window to resemble that in the 12 & 26 EMA Crossover - Long. I have found that when the %K crosses above the %D (slow, 10, 10) most stocks exhibiting this crossover tend to jump in price approximately 7 - 10 days after the crossover.

  20. More consideration in the information grids needs to be given to dividend timing matters, such as last two period dividend declaration dates and amounts, current dividend status (post div, earnable div, or ex div).
