  1. I always get these sales pitch from VV about "Stock of the Week". I would like to know which strategy picks these stocks or are these stocks only from the VST stock list. If from the VST stock list, then it is pretty much not possible to buy the stock when the "Buy" recommendation is given, because at that time probably the stock is not in the Top VST stock list.

  2. The idea is to have a new unisearch tool based on RSI with different period values being able to search below its 20,10,5 scale line.

  4. Currently in VV7 in Unisearch, the Protrader Envelope Crossover allows only a few different Moving Averages. I would suggest that the MA setting be variable, so that one could dial up and choose a 15ma, for example

  5. (Database system designers call these "views"). When you ask to view the "watchlist" a user-defined search is invoked to create the watchlist "on the fly". The user could ask for how many items to display (default to 10 or 20).and as usual the sort. You could filter on the virtual watchlist just like a real one in other searches.

  6. You can come close by creating a watchlist, running a search filtering on that watchlist, and removing the results "by hand". But I want to be able to do the same thing using automated backtesting, portfolio manager.

  7. 1) RS measures safety. I would like it to give more emphasis to short term price variablitity. For ex, GIL has pretty variable price, but RS is 1.4. It should be lower because of the price variability.

    2) GRT seems to be based on backwards earnings. I would like it to be based on forward earmings. For ex, WCRX shows GRT of 36, but when I use forward earnings estimate from Yahoo, I get GRT of (3.48-3.43)/3.43 or 0

  9. When creating or using the unisearch tool the value box is vague. Example 50 day moving average volume ? Anything under 500,000 shares a day traded and this stock is hard to buy or sell fast. What value or number of shares would represent a small, midcap or large corporation? And so forth, at present I do not know this type of information, I am not a financial account dealing with corporations.

  10. Currently in Unisearch we can perform search for new Hgih. I think it would be useful to be able to search for near 52-week hgihs as well seen as many stocks are off their all time high in the current market.

  11. Every week we have a strategy of the week that often uses the Buy/sell ratio (BSR), color guard values, or MTI in order to determine when to buy or sell stocks in general. Why not allow the unisearch tool to access that data, to make it's own decisions as to WHEN to be in or out of the market, and when to go long and short on individual stocks the search finds? For example, I'd love to be able to reference the current BSR, and turn on a "bottom fishing " search when it hits a low value like .30,…

  14. Please all us to search "all time" historic new highs. Since the crash in 2008 this has become important because we need to know which companies are still doing great. AAPL is a good example everyone knows. Citi could be hitting a 52 new high at 5, but that doesn't mean they are doing the best they've ever done - we need to know who is the best of the best.

  15. I would like to see at least a 2 to 1 ratio of the distance from the current price to the resistance line vs. the support line. The parameter would have to look like this:
(resistance price - act price) / (act price - support price) with an operator > and a value of 2.

  16. I created a program in UniSearch that was centered around a custom field. Because the field did not move in realtime like RT and Price, it rendered the program useless. If I sort by the custom field in stock viewer, it does move in realtime. The problem is I don't want all the stocks in the VVC, only the ones from my UniSearch program. Hope you can make custom built fields move in realtime in UniSearch.

    Thanks, Kevin Williams

  18. In Unisearch stochastic Osc the number of days DPeriod should range [1-100] or custom editable. Also it will be good to have filter based on stochastic %D Period and %K Period crossover or Crossunder other than only overbought/oversold.
