Both $ Change and % Change can be added from the Price/Volume group in the Add Parameter drop down.

  2. Whe you look at a graph of a stock you should be able to see the industry/sector graph the stock is in. We all know when a sector goes down all stocks good and bad go with it. This would be more covenient than switching screens.

In VectorVest 7, we now show the stock’s Industry and Sector as a watermark in the background of the graph as well as the symbol and company name.

If you are not currently using VectorVest 7, it is a free upgrade with the following link:
    http://www.vectorvest.com/vv7upgrade

  3. I would like to see capability added to the program to save performance graphs (containing more than one stock or index) so performance of various indices/stocks can be compared graphically over time. Now one has to recreate the graph dailey.

  6. The ability to add vertical and horizontal lines to the Draw Line menu would be very helpful. This would be easier and more accurate than manually drawing lines.

This ability exists in the VectorVest 7 (RealTime) platform. In the next few months we will be releasing intraday and end of day versions of this platform. All current users of VectorVest US End Of Day will be able to use the new platform. Versions of the platform for Canada, Europe, UK, Australia, and South Africa will follow.

  7. Each time I type a symbol in the textbox on the Graphs page and press enter, I need to reach for the mouse again to click the cursor back into the textbox and press backspace before entering a new symbol. I do not want to use the mouse every time I want to get the graph for another symbol.

This feature now exists in VectorVest 7. The REC is displayed across the top of the graph, so you can quickly see the REC value at any point on the graph.

  12. Graph two or more stocks simultaneously...

I often like to see how much a stock is connected to SPY, QQQ, etc. or 2-3 similar stocks in the same sector. I am not able to do this in VV but can on my trading platform.

This feature exists in both VectorVest 7 and VectorVest Online. You can graph multiple stocks against each other by using a Performance Graph which is available in the Graphs section.

  13. When putting a moving average for volume on the chart it creates another graph instead of it just being an overlay.

  14. Would like option to display numbers on right side of Market Timing Graph which would be closer to recent close prices. Would be much easier than following grid lines to the left displayed numbers.

  16. Often I create a new timing graph to test. It would be nice to be able to add notes to these graphs. Ther is plenty room on the left side of the graph. Adding a text block should be easy. Thanks.

Notes can be added to a graph by using the Drawing Tools in the upper toolbar. Click on the arrow next to the button named Freehand Line. The fifth choice in the list is Note. A note can be drawn anywhere on the graph and will be saved with the stock being graphed.

  19. Keep the same time frame that was set in standard graph when you select protrader graph(or visa versa) for convenience. Usually you will want to use both graphs in the same time frame. If not, then you can simply readjust it to what ever timeframe you want.

This issue has been fixed in VectorVest 7, as ProTrader and Standard graphs have been combined into one graph type.

  20. I want to chart the AVERAGE of a watchlist or Portfolio in real time (intraday) and be able to apply indicators (moving, averages, etc. so I can determine entry and exit points for the Watchlist or Portfolio as a whole. You already give me this ability on individual stocks. I need to do it for the average of the Portfolio and Watchlists. VectorVest Prographics lets me chart a single graph for the average of a watchlist with end of day data and apply any indicator. I want to do the exact same thing with intraday data.
